NYT JORDENS DAG ÅBENT OPKALD
Vores "Jordiske Fabulationer" åbne opkald er nu live. I anledning af Jordens Dag 2026 inviterer vi linsebaserede kunstnere til at dekonstruere den traditionelle og koloniale historie inden for landskabsfotografering ved at engagere sig i de intersektionelle og systemiske virkeligheder på vores planet. Vi leder efter værker, der bevæger sig ud over det menneskecentrerede blik og behandler planter, dyr og geologiske formationer som aktive hovedpersoner, med rod i kunstnerisk praksis i økokritik og en ægte forpligtelse til at forstå de specifikke forhold i ens lokale og bredere miljø.
Udvalgte kunstnere vil få deres værker vist i en onlineudstilling på vores hjemmeside fra den 22. april til den 22. maj og vil blive inviteret til at deltage i kritiksessioner i små grupper som en del af vores ansigt-til-ansigt uddannelsesprogram, hvor de kan dele igangværende arbejde, udveksle feedback med ligemænd og modtage vejledning fra Der Greif-teamet. Udvalgte kunstnere vil også blive inviteret til at indsende deres portefølje til Der Greif Studio, hvilket åbner muligheder for salg og bestilling af kunstværker på tværs af hotel-, virksomheds- og kulturelle rum internationalt. New Earth Day Open Call
Our "Earthly Fabulations" open call is now live. In the spirit of Earth Day 2026, we are inviting lens-based artists to deconstruct the traditional and colonial history of landscape photography by engaging with the intersectional and systemic realities of our planet. We are looking for works that move beyond the human-centric gaze to treat plants, animals, and geological formations as active protagonists, rooting artistic practice in ecocriticism and a genuine commitment to understanding the specificities of one's local and wider environment.
Selected artists will have their work featured in an online exhibition on our homepage from April 22 to May 22, and will be invited to participate in small-group critique sessions as part of our Face-to-Face educational program, where they can share work-in-progress, exchange feedback with peers, and receive guidance from the Der Greif team. Selected artists will also be invited to submit their portfolio to Der Greif Studio, opening pathways to artwork sales and commissions across hospitality, corporate, and cultural spaces internationally. The submission deadline is April 8, and emerging and mid-career artists from anywhere in the world are warmly encouraged to apply. Head to our website to find out more and submit your work.
